Michael J. Wolf

Michael J. Wolf is founder and chief executive of Activate, Inc., a management consulting firm specialised in technology, internet, media and entertainment businesses. Previously, Wolf was President and COO of MTV Networks. Prior to MTVN, he was Global Managing Partner of McKinsey & Company’s Media, Entertainment and Information Practice. He was McKinsey’s first direct-elect Senior Partner hire, joining from Booz Allen Hamilton, where he founded and led the firm’s global Communications, Media and Technology Group. Wolf served as a Director at Sotheby International, Yahoo Inc. and Entercom Communications. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
