Job Details

Acne Studios is a progressive luxury house and through collaboration and curiosity, we set high aspirations and strive for excellence. We value everyone's contribution and embrace feedback to develop ourselves and others. We aim to minimise our environmental impact across all our operations and to address societal challenges in the way we conduct our business.

As Global VM Creative Lead at our Stockholm / Paris Office, you will set the creative vision for Acne Studios' visual merchandising worldwide - shaping how collections, themes, and product stories come to life across all brand touchpoints. You define the seasonal creative tone with a strong visual point of view and elevated luxury display expertise, ensuring all expressions reflect the Acne Studios universe and enhance the client journey.

CULTURE OF COLLABORATION

We firmly believe that when you feel supported, included, and trusted, it enables you to enjoy your work and thrive in it. You will be a part of a team of colleagues with diverse roles and backgrounds, each with their unique skills and experiences.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Global VM Creative Lead, your main contribution will be to drive the global creative VM vision and ensure Acne Studios' seasonal narratives are expressed with clarity, impact, and consistency across all physical brand touchpoints. You will report to the Director of Visual & Brand Experience.

You will play a vital role in elevating how collections are translated into the store environment and in shaping a cohesive, inspiring client experience worldwide by:
  • Leading the global creative VM vision and seasonal in‑store expression
  • Defining storytelling, styling, and product/category presentation across all store tiers
  • Aligning early with Buying, Merchandising, and Creative to translate key themes into display concepts
  • Overseeing global Showroom setups and elevated collection presentations
  • Supporting the development of seasonal and long‑term props, fixtures, and display tools
  • Creating premium, scalable VM guidelines that turn creative direction into actionable frameworks
  • Ensuring global consistency while enabling thoughtful local adaptation
  • Directing VM for store openings, press days, VIC activations, pop‑ups, and key brand moments
  • Upholding Acne Studios' luxury standards in styling, composition, and product density
  • Enhancing the client journey through intuitive, inspiring VM execution
  • Inspiring and guiding global teams through presentations, training, and creative leadership

WHO YOU ARE

You have high aspirations and focus on details that create substantial impact. You enjoy working as a team and you embrace feedback to develop yourself and others. You are curious and thrive in a dynamic environment. Cooperation, respect, and clear communication are important, along with your ambition to learn and grow. If these qualities speak to you, we would love to have you on our team.

Specific personal qualities for this role:
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate creative ideas clearly and convincingly
  • Calm, adaptable, and solution‑oriented, thriving in a fast‑paced and evolving environment
  • Deeply client‑minded, with a strong instinct for designing an intuitive and inspiring customer journey
  • Clear, confident communicator of creative direction, able to align and energize teams
  • Collaborative leader who elevates cross‑functional work and fosters a constructive, creative culture

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:
  • 8-10+ years' experience in visual merchandising within luxury fashion or the broader artistic/luxury sector
  • Strong visual culture and fashion sensibility with a clear understanding of luxury brand standards
  • Degree in a creative field (Visual Arts, Spatial Design, Fashion Communication, or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of luxury retail customer‑journey design, zoning, and flow principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of 3D tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus
  • Fluent in English

What matters most to us is not whether you master all the listed knowledge and skills. We are dedicated to recognising the potential in each individual. We embrace diversity of people as well as ideas and viewpoints and encourage everyone's individual expression of their own identity.
